TOUCHSTONE MEDIA are proud to announce the eagerly anticipated release of ‘IN MY LIFE’ a debut studio album by the former ‘Bucks Fizz’ star and ‘Eurovision Song Contest Winner’ MIKE NOLAN.
In late 2012 MIKE, without the crutch of his ‘Fizz’ band mates of thirty years, took his first solo steps into an Essex recording studio to record ‘IN MY LIFE’ the most poignant album of his career.
The results speak for themselves – a relevant and contemporary collection of 70’s influenced emotional and moving classics – tracks that helped MIKE regain his memory and give him strength to fight back after the 1984 coach crash which nearly ended his life.
The effects of the crash were to remain with MIKE for years after leaving him even to this day with short-term memory loss and impaired vision. Ever since the one constant in MIKE’s life was the music that steered him through his life journey and which gave him hope that one day he would fulfill his ambition of recording a solo album.
IN MY LIFE is that album – a dramatic and emotive 14-track collection of songs that have meant the most to MIKE from recovery to now. With this album MIKE celebrates life and pays homage to a collection of artists and songs, which today sound as current and influential as ever.

Mike Nolan and Bucks Fizz won the Eurovision song contest back in 1981 with the iconic Making Your Mind Up. Nolan continues to perform with original band members Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston. Last year the Original Bucks Fizz, now known as OBF, released their first new material in over 20 years. Bucks Fizz were one of the biggest bands of the 80’s with a string of top 10 hits including: The Land of Make Believe, My Camera Never Lies, Piece of the Action and Run for your Life – to name but a few.
Mike intends to tour the album later on this year.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest takes place in SWEDEN on 18th May 2013.
